The real battle that faces humanity is the one that is inside ourself, and confronts our sense of honor, vanity, ambition, loyalty, procreation, inspiration, and others such things that drive us. It is the fight against that part of us that wants to rebel at our drive towards civilization, and the subsequent separation of ourselves from the animal life around us. It is not money, property, or love that drives us, but rather an inexoratable sense of implied morality that huddles us together by threads of doctrine and experience.
